Running Hard

I was hanging with some friends the other day and one of their kids kept running all over the yard. Was great watching him explore, run to his dad, and just dominate the party.

What was funny was how he was running. He was putting everything into it. So much so that he would lean so far forward that falling was the only logical next step, but he seemed to keep it together somehow.

Have you ever tried to run standing straight up? It doesn't work nearly as well as if you'll lean into your next step. Sometimes this can be scary...you feel like the only options are slow down or fall. Where do you find yourself most times? Leaning forward, close to falling or slowing down, playing it safe?

Failure is most often on the road to success. If I'm not willing to lean I will most likely move too slow. Let's get moving...embrace the lean, the possibility of falling.
